Good news!

     "Honey. Honey!" Martha nagged.
Dave answered with a monotone "Yes dear."
"Did you even hear a word I just said?" she huffed.
Dave turned the page of the newspaper that he was currently immersed in and answered with an uninterested "About what dear?"
"Why must you do this?" Martha shrieked, "it's like you purposely ignore me!"
"If your voice didn't get so high pitched," Dave stated with annoyance, "I wouldn't have to ignore you."
Martha threw her hands up in the air exasperated, "Well I'm sorry I'm so excited about being pregnant!"
     "You're pregnant?"
"YES! I JUST SAID I WAS!"
Dave was in shock. He stammered, "Oh. My. Gosh." Then it really hit him. "You're pregnant!"
Martha stood there watching her husband's features change.
"I'm going to be a dad!"
Martha jumped up and down, excited to finally have gotten through to her husband. Dave picked her up and twirled in a circle. When Martha's feet touched the ground she clung to Dave and started to cry, but they weren't tears of joy.
"I'm so scared," she whispered, "what if I'm not good at being a mother."
Dave held her close.
"You are going to make the best mother this child will ever know!" Dave confidently stated.

A piece of Superpower Heaven!

Catch me if you can! I'm here now I'm not, what power am I? Invisibility? Nope! Teleportation!

Teleportation aids me and the earth at the same time. To travel anywhere-short or long distance-just by thinking it and not having to drive a car that emits harmful gasses. It's every "Tree Hugger's" dream! Plus it cures boredom! I can imagine it now; lounging around the house with nothing to entertain me, I just picture the Asakuza Temple in Japan and WHOOSH! There I am, gazing upon the rich land and gorgeous pagodas. The wind gently swaying the good luck charms that descend like outstretched fingers from the rooftop of the Shrine. When I've had my fill of inner peace I'd think of venturing through the Shibuya district in Tokyo. Shopping! Teleportation would be extremely helpful after a day of shopping, that way I could quickly drop my items off at home and go back for another round! If I was running late-say to the cherry blossom festival- all I would have to do is picture the rows of towering cherry blossom trees, and I'd be there! The crisp scent of the blossoms and the "oohs" and "aahs" from other tourists as they admire God's creation, fill my senses. What a stupendous power! I honestly wouldn't choose any other than that of Teleportation. At this particular moment in time, anyway.
